04 | «Explosionism» - 3 weeks of visual experiments in 2 minutes | First, I had to do some visual research for the bachelor thesis to learn the various ways of illustrating an explosion. Over three weeks and in three sketchbooks I used different drawing methods and styles trying to capture the intense and vibrant moment of the blast of an explosion. As reference materials I watched many documentaries and videos on youtube with explosions (e.g. "the biggest and best movie explosions part 1-13").
